ANI Server problems, please help!!

Hi,

I have just installed Cisco Works 2000 LMS on a Win2000 server.

Everthing seemed to install OK, as per the instructions- but when I try to run the Topology Services(Under Campus Manager), it says "Cannot connect to ANI server".

I have checked status and it says not running, so I try to start it and then attempt to run Topology services again. I keep getting the same message "Cannot connect to ANI server".

Any ideas on how I could resolve this issue- everything else functions correctly

such as Device manager etc, but i really need the topology services up and running.

Version is CWLMS-2.0

Campus Manager v 3.1

Win 2k server, 1.1 Gig RAM

Did you install CW2K as local Administrator to this sever?. What kind of Win2K is this, Prof, Server, Adv. Server?. From the DOS prompt try doing a net stop crmdmgtd followed by net start crmdmgtd to see if it works.
