I've noticed that my aniserver.log file has grown to over 3 gigs on my CW2000 Windows 2000 server. After running the LogBackup.pl script to clean up all log files, it actually grew by 1 gig while the others were squeezed down in size. I thought that script was to be used to decrease the size, not make it grow. 4+ gigs is way too big. Anyone know of a way to squeeze down the size of this file or at least make it manageable?

LogBackup.pl is the script to backup the oversized log files

Yes, but it also performs a function that reduces the size of the log files......

This script maintains Daemon manager, JRUN, Web server log files.

My aniserver.log file was in fact backed up by this script along with all other files at 90% under the "Log File Status" page. In addition to being backed up, the files that were at 90% were squeezed except for the aniserver.log file which in fact grew by 1 gig to 4.3 gigs. The solution I am looking for is how to squeeze this file along with the others and also how to keep it from getting to this size in the first place.
