I was once able to use this feature in a LAN environment when supporting MHSRP to allow for a single default gateway. It seems that this feature no longer exists. Does anyone know what happened to it and what can be used in its plavce? Thanks

I'm fairly certain that it was arp alias and it allowed you to create an alias MAC address to be used for other MACs. It was a real neat way to get arround having multiple VIP addresses when using MHSRP.

GLBP (the new-and-improved HSRP) does something like this.
