Evaluating BIOS Options ...
Launch BIOS Extension to setup ROMMON

Cisco Systems ROMMON Version (1.0(10)0) #0: Fri Mar 25 23:02:10 PST 2005

Platform ASA5520

Use BREAK or ESC to interrupt boot.
Use SPACE to begin boot immediately.

Launching BootLoader...

And there it will sit presumably forever.  Breaking in to rommon I can tftpdnld and run any image I want just fine.  Tried erasing flash and reloading image, no good.  Tried new flash, no good.  Tried disk1, no good.  Any ideas?

Hi,

What code version are you trying to boot?

Thanks

v9.1(4)

Hi

I have had some issues with 9.1 not booting on an ASA 5505. 9.0 and 9.2 worked with out a problem. Try another version and see if problem goes away.

Will do, thanks for the suggestion...

This is odd - when I ask Cisco they tell me that 9.2 isn't supported on the 5520.
