ATM Error Message

I have an ATM wide area network with four sites. This used to be five sites but one was removed recently. Since removing the fifth site, and all configuration regarding it from all ATM switches and routers, I get this error message every 30 seconds on one of my routers.

Oct 3 14:49:17.254 bst: %CBUS-3-CATMREJCMD: ATM5/0/0 Teardown VC command failed

(error code 0x0008)

If anyone could give me any help with what might be causing this, that would be great,

This means that the RP is sending a command to the linecard where the microcode on the linecard is failing to do a specific action (i.e. Delete a PVC, etc). This might very well be an IOS defect, without knowing your running version this is hard to say for sure. There are a lot of DDTS's filed with this type of error.

Your (error code 0x0008) means the commend completion status was Failed.

0x0n00 Completion status of a command(0 .. 9) 0==OK, >0 fail

The router is 11.1(2), and the ATM LS1010 is 11.2(15)WA3(6).

Any idea where I can find out how to stop it doing this?

Here's a stab with the information I have to help ID your problem. Looks like there are a couple bigs in 11.1 that might be a match that are fixed in later code. Here is the information for you.
