I'm trying to bind a policy-map to atm subinterface using the service-policy command. It lets me to configure it but if i execute sho run afterwards i can't see the command in configuration. Does anybody know why?

Mmmh reminds me a bug, what sw version do you use ? If it's a version that went out just after the CBWFQ on ATM introduction, upgrade. Karim.

soft is c7200-p-mz.121-9.E.bin. But when i changed a bit the policy configuration it did appear to config. I changed strict priority to bandwidth percent. Will play a bit more with this.

it looks like the problem is in priority statement. If i already have policy map applied to interface, it lets me configure the priority command but it doesn't show up in running conf.
