Automated TFTP of config files

Hi,

Is it possible using IOS 12.3 to get a router (3725 or 2620) to automatically TFTP its running config to a local TFTP server on a scheduled basis, or do I need third party software on my LAN to retrieve it automatically.

Any ideas

Don’t bother with 3rd party software, use cisco.pm module for Perl. Very easy and very simple….http://nettelnetcisco.sourceforge.net/docs.html

or you can use the various free cisco utilities over at

put them in a batch file and off you go.
