I have a dedicated full T1 between two campuses and I need to configure my 2610's with T1 WIC's. I would like to test this in a LAB environment before deploying the routers. Can you help?

You can make a crossover cable and connect them. For a t1 crossover you need 4 wires.

1 -> 4

2 -> 5

4 -> 1

5 -> 2

The Cisco article I read said I could use the Cisco Roll-over cable. Is this true? I still don't get a green CD light when I use a flat roll-over. If I connect it directly to the T1 coming in the CD light goes green.Thanks for your time.

You can follow the instructions inthe following URL. It should be pretty much the same even if this one is for the 2522:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/routers/ps233/products_tech_note09186a00800a3f09.shtml

Hope this helps,

Does this document reside in any other area besides partners? I don't have access to the partners CCO area of Cisco. Can you email me the HTML? john.riffle@watkins.com, thanks in advance for your help....John

John,

If you take the "partner" part out of the URL, you can get to the document Harold Ritter referenced. Here's a revised link:
