Hi,
Understand that catalyst 4006 switch has 64 Gbps backplane speed.
Also understand from the maximum port density table of catalyst 4006 as
10/100 - 240 ports, 100 Base FX - 240 ports.
Also understand that this switch supports 10/100/1000 - 240 ports.
How do we justify the back plane speed(64 Gbps) with 240 * 1000 Mbps ports on a single catalyst 4006 switch.
What is the relationship between the Backplane speed and the number of available ports?

The uplinks are non-blocking. Each line module has 12 GBbps (6 each way) for switch fabric connections.
