I have 60 access routers (2611) located at remote sites. These 60 access routers are connected back to HQ using point-to-point serial link. I need to monitor only the BANDWIDTH used in these serial link, then produce a weekly report on the bandwidth utilisation. How can I do this in CW2K LMS 2.0 and RWAN 1.2 ? Pls help, thanks.

CiscoView can be used for this which have a feature of Real TIme Graphs. But since CV does does not have any database, you cannot do any kind of historical trending or save the info but just print them. nGenius RTM is another option, but for routers, you need to have a switch probe available and connected in order to use. MRTG is another option which is a free ware (http://www.mrtg.org)

You can use IPM to get some useful historical data on the performance of the links. But sad to say it does not produce utilization reports. If you can gather both IPM and MRTG reports, that will be the best.

Rizwan,
Can you please elaborate on how to generate the Real TIme Graphs on CV?
Thanks.

Open the device in CV. Select the Port/Interface in the GUI and do a right mouse click. In the menu select Monitor to see the graphs.

Another excellent solution that we have used is Cacti Raxnet which utilizes RRDTOOL. It is free but it requires some Linux knowledge. http://www.raxnet.net/products

You could try JFFNMS an OpenSource Network management system, which includes Bandwidth monitoring and interface autodiscovery and is focused on Cisco Equipment.
It runs on Windows also (prefered is Unix).
You can get reports on the dates you specify, with RTT, PL, Input Rate, Input Packets, Drops, Availability, etc.
