Bandwidth Standstill

I have a PIX 501 and a T1 line. My bandwidth has been lately solid at 1MBps stright, with barely any fluctuations. The users in my network report slow internet connectivity which is weird since there should be available another 500kbps. Is there somewhere a throttle limit on the PIX to only allow 1Mbps? Can I change it?

Afaik and came across dont think some rate-limiting feature in PIX btw whts the type of connecitivity u r having to u r SP is ther any Router coming in between ?or hows its getting terminated to the SP end ?

i hope if there r some routers in between (like in ur premises or in SP premises )they can always limit the in/out b/w.
