I am trying to update our Banners and MOTD on our routers/switches (various models). As I am in Canada I need to create them in both French and English, the French has special characters such as è or à and many others(all in notepad). When I past them in to the configs Cisco has decided to change the special characters.
Is there a way I can get the configs to accept my special characters?
