BERT Testing DS3

I have to BERT test a DS3 (it is not going live). This is on a CIsco 7200 platform. What configuration is required on the routers and what arrangements need to be made with the Carrier?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In order to perform a BERT test on a DS3 port, the remote port must have keepalives disabled and must be set in loopback mode to return the BERT signal to the local port.
