bri layer 1 and 2 shows deactivate

We have one cisco 3640 router with 4 port BRI (S/T) card ,, and one cisco 2522 router with one port BRI (S/T) card ,,, We have four Siemens ISDN line with basic-net3 switch type ,, problem is that ,, wehn i plug in my ISDN line in my cisco 2522 router's BRI port it give on Activated status for bot Layer 1 and 2 , but when i Plug in the same ISND line in my other cisco 3640 router BRI port , its shows the Deactivaion status of my layer 1 and 2 ,, i am using the same line and same switch type on both routers ,,,,,,,

Whats am i missing an is there any kind of card problem ,, i am using 12.0-7 ver IOS in 2522 and 12.2 verion IOS in 3640.

maybe post some debug output of q921 q931 and show isdn status ..

BRI S/T module needs to have the external NT1 device to terminate the bri line

Are you using that at 3640?

Need to look for debug "debug isdn q921" along with "sh isdn status"
