Broadcast Storm and 2950-24

We have 7*2950 cascaded in a flat network topology. Pinging TTL is about 400ms to the switches and the CPU load is running at about 30%. Sniffer software says their is a broadcast storm on the newtork. How do you find the device that is causing the broadcast storm?

What is the source MAC/IP in the sniffer? Try to isolate the device based on this. Also, do you see any latency if you ping from a device to another device rather than switches?

The source address of the Sniffer is as follows: on a given switch

monitor session 1 source interface fast ethernet 0/1 - 47

monitor session 1 destination interface fast ethernet 0/48

Ideally I would like to monitor the whole VLAN but they only use VLAN 1 which I believe you cannot monitor using the

monitor session 1 source interface range command

I only get the latency when pinging the switches. Ping returns 1ms when pinging the servers from a workstation

A show interface on any interface will give you the load on that link.
