Anyone know that if I have 3 VLANs with VLAN ids VL1,VL2 and VL3 at which
logically the switch ports 1-8 assigned to VL1, ports 9-16 assigned to VL2 and ports 17-24 assigned to VL3.
I allocated VL1 with subnetA clients, VL2 with subnetB clients and VL3 with subnetC clients,if physically I connected a subnetA client to the port 10 (belonged to VL2) of the switch, can this subnetA client still can communicate with all subnetA clients ?
So the overall VLAN VTP is actually controlled by the assigned VLAN ports or determined by the logical subnet of the client ?
Please help ?
Thanks.
