Cable network and arp problems

Hi,

I've problem with large nubers of arp packet on my cable network.

I try configure on cable intetraface "no cable arp" and arps dont send over the network but I cant ping (and dont have any access like snmp) neither cable modems nor hosts.

In "sh arp" I see huge ip address with status Incomplete.

How I can filter out this arp from my network? (cable modem filtr?)

One more thing: when I've def configuration with cable arp on cable interface when sniff packets behinde cable modem I see my community name sometimes in this arp packets :(

we are using cemf and ı have some problems about that "autodiscovery is not working " " threshold regime is a secret part " do you know anything about these subjects and ı want poll some devices with snmp , but how , which program do I need to see traps , thanks a lot

sorry but I don't have any experience with CEMF.

We don't use this software.
