CAT2948-L3 Configuration

I want to create 2 vlans in my 2848-l3 switch.Port 1-24 will be in vlan 1 and ports 25-48 will be in vlan 2.Vlan 1 will be connected to secured interface of PIX and Vlan 2 will be connected unsecure interface of PIX firewall.If clients in vlan1 want to connect to any of the client in vlan2 then all of them must be going thru PIX only.Can i have sample configuration for the above said configuration.I will be grateful to you.Mail me back only at sungoel@yahoo.com.

one way to do this is throuvh BVI.

well I can help you with the pix config. the switch is easy, just goto www.cisco.com and look up 2800 command reference.

the pix:

inside (whats your ip range)?

outside (what your ip range)?

dmz (what do you want your range to be)?

just so you know the pix is not a router so if you think there is alot of traffic going back and forth look into a 2600 or "router on a stick".
