Cat3548XL & Discarded Packets

We have 6 Cat3548XL switches connected together in a cluster using gigastack modules. Each of the gigastack interfaces is showing discarded packets in the range of 20 million +. I have found some info on show port command counters for the catos, but nothing specific to the 3548.

Is there any documentation available describing the discard packets for the Cat3548XL.

Hi,

depending on your configuration the gigastack connections are only half-duplex, not full duplex.
