I got my CCNA about a year ago. I took only one test to get the CCNA (I didn't do the 2 test route)
I have a few questions.
Is there ANY advantage at this point to going back and doing ICND1 to get CCENT?
Also, I believe I have to recertify my CCNA every 3 years..
I am studying for the CCNA Voice. Once I take that, I believe that is also a 3 year recertify. Will tha extend
the CCNA as well?
Thanx for any help in advance..

Hi,
If you are good enough to solve the CCNA level questions then no need to go back. if not then please study and take exam directly 640-802(CCNA).
But i will recommand go for ditectly to 640-802, that will test your both (ICND1 and ICND2) level of toughness.
Yes it is valid only for 3 years.
No CCNA voice is diff. exam then CCNA routing and switching so that will not extend.
Please rate and mark answered if it helps.

HEY! THIS IS NOT TRUE!
Look here: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le0/le9/learning_certification_type_home.html
It says clearly:
CCNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass ONE of the following before the certification expiration date:

CCNA certifications are valid for three years.
If you are good enough to solve the CCNA level questions then no need to go back. if not then please study and take exam directly 200-105(CCNA).
But i will recommand go for ditectly to 200-105, that will test your both (ICND1 and ICND2) level of toughness.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA Voice) validates associate-level knowledge and skills required to administer a voice network. It validates skills in VoIP technologies such as IP PBX, IP telephony, handset, call control, and voicemail solutions.
