I have 2 SUPIis PFC2swith MSFC2s. CATos 7.4.2 MSFC 12.1(12c)E2. I have a router connected to a port and is a directly connected route. When failover of the MSFC occurs, I can ping from the newly active MSFC to the directly connected route until the first MSFC module comes back online, then pings fail. OSPF is converged. I have to switch SUP engines to have the pings flow again. MAC addresses on the MSFC, SUP CAM and Router are all correct. I disable CEF on the VLAN interface and reload the MSFC and all works well. I can reload the MSFC and no problems. Trying to recreate the problem, i re-enable CEF on the VLAN and reset the entire switch. I cannot recreate the problem. This was similar to bug ID CSCds36857 but the CEF next hop was correct. Has anyone experienced this?
