Changing the boot parameters on a 3750G

I have a couple of Cisco 3750G switches currently running c3750-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEB4. I have already uploaded the new image and entered boot flash:c3750-advipservicesk9-mz.1

22-25.SEE2.bin

The boot file now contains..

BOOT path-list : flash:c3750-advipservices9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin.

But when I reboot the switch it still loads the original image and not the new one...

Can anyone help ?

Hi Friend,

I see that the new image which you have upgraded is "c3750-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEB4" but the boot path is set to

"c3750-advipservices9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin" which I thin kis your old image.

So can you try deleting or clearing old boot path and set a new boot path for new image and see if that works.

It appears that the image name in the BOOT path-list is spelled incorrectly...it is missing the k (.....k9-mz.122.....). I would try doing a "boot system flash:c3750-advipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin"

Isuue the following command in the global configuration mode

(config)#boot system flash:c3750-advipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin

Reload the router.

After the reload, check the boot file status with the show boot command. It should have loaded the new IOS and would reflect in your boot file.
