Hi All,
I have three Cisco 1751-V routers used for VoIP over wireless WAN connection.
I would like to program one of the router to periodically send ping to the other routers and in the event of a time-out to send an e-mail to system administrator.
I have two questions. The first one if it's possible with Cisco IOS software and the second is which commands are requered to achieve this functionality.
Thanks in advance,
Igor Sotelo.

You can have a SNMP server to monitor all the routers and check if the wan link is up. Sending ping periodically wont help and I think is not possible also. SNMP server can send traps and poll the routers periodically to check the link status. CIscoworks products can be used to do this.
