Cisco 2924 XL switch 24 port

Hi

Can anyone tell me if there is a certain procedures to connect to console on 2924 switch ? I have tried using hyperterminal ( normal way) won't work !

I was told to hold down the mode key during power up for 15 secs ? any one know the correct method ?

Hi,

here are the description:

Attach a terminal or PC with terminal emulation (for example, Hyper Terminal) to the console port of the switch. Use the following terminal settings:

Bits per second (baud): 9600

Data bits: 8

Parity: None

Stop bits: 1

Flow Control: Xon/Xoff
