I am getting following error:

Event Message: Port_Performance_dot3_Ethernet PORT-

xxxxx/1.32 [Fa0/32] [yyyy Z3-MGMT] is HighBroadcastRate. Indicates that the input packet broadcast percentage exceeds BroadcastThreshold.

and after 14 minutes of time, got this message.

Event Message: Port_Performance_dot3_Ethernet PORT-xxxx/1.32 [Fa0/32] [yyyy Z3-MGMT] is OK.

Where xxxx is the switch name and yyyy is the machine name connected to this port.

In show run, i do not found any broadcast threshold set for the ports.

Please help me in this regard as this is some sort of emergency.

Thanks for all of you.

Muhammad Imtiaz

A fault is an abnormal condition that occurs when a system (or component of a system) exceeds a performance threshold or is not functioning properly. An exception is a group of related faults. DFM groups related faults into a single exception.
