We're trying to upgrade the IOS on our Cisco 3725. We installed a new internal flash (requires 128Mb instead of 32Mb), copied the new ios to the internal flash, with the vtlan.dat and the running-config.
went to the config t prompt and typed
"boot system slot0:c3725-adventerprisek9-mz124-6-t2.bin" then typed reload, it said config has changed do you want to save said yes, then it said confirm reload. when it re loaded it said error can not open "slot0:c3725-adventerprisek9-mz124-6-t2.bin" error -13.
WTF Mate

Is the router up and running now but running a different code than what you wnat? If so you can dir slot0: to confirm the file name. what you typed - "slot0:c3725-adventerprisek9-mz124-6-t2.bin" does not look right. the file name would generally look like "c3725-adventerprisek9-mz.124-6-t2.bin" note the "period" between the "mz" and the "124". the point is making sure the file name you type is exactly the same as what appears in the slot0:.

It is not booting, it goes to the ROMAN prompt. The filename is correct. What you see typed above was hand typed from memory, not copy and pasted.
Any other ideas?

If it's internal flash why is it slot0:? should it not be flash:? Can you post dir flash: and dir slot0:? In addition, wherever you see an image either flash or slot0, can you manually boot with "boot slot0: orflash:" whatever it maybe? It does look like there is a typo somewhere.
