Cisco & 3com Management VLAN

We have network in which we have deployed Cisco 2950-EI talking to 3com switches, 3com has its management vlan 1 with 802.1q & same with cisco also vlan 1 with 802.1q. Now the issue is we are not able to ping cisco segment or manage the device nor cisco is able to access the 3com management segment.

Thanks

Cisco switches has management vlan as vlan 1, but are you sure that 3com also use vlan 1 as mgmt vlan ? You may need to check that.

Is VLAN 1 the default VLAN? If so, I would check to see if the 3Coms tag the default VLAN like they used to (BTW, what switches are you using?). If so, see if you can change that. If you can't, you'll need to either change the default VLAN or the management VLAN.

Are you sure the trunk is up and working ? Also I assume that your management ip's are within the same segment and use the same mask. Do a show int trunk and see if the trunk is actually working or not .
