cisco 6807 - slot error 6KPWR-4-UNSUPPORTED: unsupported module in slot 6, power not allowed: Unknown Card Type

Hi Guys,

someone please help. we recently acquired a cisco 6807 and one of the cards in the slot gives the error

6KPWR-4-UNSUPPORTED: unsupported module in slot 6, power not allowed: Unknown Card Type

someone point me in the right direction please.

Hi,

What card have you installed in slot 6?  "show inventory" should show you the name of the card in slot 6.

Data Sheet and Installation Notes specifies that this line card requires an IOS level of 15.2(1)SY or later.  The supervisor card is just running 15.1(2)SY3.
