Cisco 836 vs Cisco 837

Hi,

Is there a difference between the ADSL Port compatibility with DSLAMs for Cisco 836 and Cisco 837 routers ?

In Cisco 836 Specs the WAN port is mentioned as "ADSL over ISDN" instead of just plain ADSL ?

Is "ADSL over ISDN" a different technology as comapred to normal ADSL.

There 2 type of telephone lines, POTS and ISDN, both capable of using ADSL.

However the ADSL signaling for the 2 lines aren't the same, therfor you can't use a 837 on a ADSL over ISDN, and nor a 836 on a ADSL over POTS.
