Hi there
it may sound like a trivial question, but does anybody know what exactly means
"Maximum site-to-site and remote access VPN sessions"
lets take ASA 5505
it is stated, that it supports up to 10 sessions
does it mean that i can interconnect 10 of these devices together over VPN with some count of PC's behind each of them
or maybe it means, that only 10 PC's can communicate over VPN *simultaneously*, even if i have 10 ASA's interconnected together like in previous example
thank you for advice
Andrew

For site to site VPN a session is a connection between 2 firewall/VPN devices.
For remote access VPN a session is a PC with VPN session to the ASA.

Thank you for reply
but what is session in the case of site-to-site vpn?
Is this a session between computers connected over vpn,
or may be, this is a session between firewall/vpn devices?
As Rick said session means for site to site between the devices at each location for remote to site pc to vpn concentrator.
Hope to Help !!
