Hi Everyone,
I have the following question, in one of our sites we have a cisco router C886 which runs on ADSL speed connecting to ISP DSLAM. Recently we were informed by the ISP that we can upgrade the line to VDSL, but I do not know if the current model supports it. How could we check that on my router ??
Thanks In Advance
Best Regards

Apparently it can not do VDSL , check Table 1. Cisco 880 Series Data Models: and lookup your particular model

C886 do support VDSL, depends on the model you have if this is only C886(with out any XX model like VAor VAJ ?) then i do not think that has support :
Cisco 886 |
ADSL2/2+ over ISDN (Annex B) |
4-port 10-/100-Mbps managed switch |
Yes (Cisco 886W) |
Yes (Cisco 886G) |
Yes |
