Cisco TACACS+ free software?

Hey all,

A couple years back I remember seeing a version of TACACS+ software that was free from Cisco. For the life of me, I can't find anything about it now. Anyone know anything about it or preferably got a link?

The TACACS+ freeware can be obtained through FTP: ftp://anonymous@ftp-eng.cisco.com/pub/tacacs/

Looks like that's the Unix based one. I'm quite sure there was a version for Windows. Any idea on that one?

Hi Rizwan,

I'm very aware of ACS, I've installed it dozens of times. I'm specificaly looking for the free version of TACACS+ that used to be offered by Cisco. It might be a discontinued product, I do not know.

I really appreciate your help however.
