Device Synchronization from Campus to RME (runs on the same w2k machine) fails with this log message :
"ERROR: Send addDevices to Essentials. Exception=java.lang.NullPointerException".
I have tried the solution provided in CSCds27676 without success.
Any ideas ?

Fastest way would be to reinitialize the DBs. Look at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps2073/products_installation_guide_chapter09186a008017b24f.html

under "device synchronization" I assume you have entered the hostname of the ANI server; try it with the IP address instead and be sure the user you have entered has full rights. Click APPLY before starting the sync.
If this does not help try the full qualified hostname.

I use 127.0.0.1, since there is only one server.
But I just noticed that a new device just installed on the network was discovered by Campus and synch:ed ok over to RME (but the other 285 devices in Campus fails to come up in RME).
For testing, I deleted all devices in RME and Campus (by doing ctrl-a, right-click and delete in "topology services"), discovered them again and synch:ed to RME. Now the sync fails for every device. I guess that my old devices are present in some files (maps ?) that need to be deleted ?
