CiscoWorks 2000 on a Win2K3 Client

I'm running CiscoWorks 2000.

On the client, I'm running IE 6.0.3790.0. Since JVM is no longer available for download from Microsoft, I installed Sun's Java 2 Runtime Environment , SE 1.4.1_02. But I can't get it to work. I do get the Login Manger prompt (name and password). But when I enter my credentials I just get a blank left margin, where nomally you would see a tree-view of the avaialble software.

Anyone else encontered this issue?

Only plug-in 1.3.1 is supported with CW2K. You need to remove 1.4.1_02 and then download 1.3.1 and use it.

I downgraded to 1.3.1, but still no luck. Any other suggestions?

Hello,

Have you tried going into the docs and settings sub dir and removed the .java and java_plugin_AppletStore subdirs? Close out the browsers first then remove these then open a new browser and hit the cw2k homepage...I have found especially with RTM that restarting the server requires this step.
