Ciscoworks 2000: update archive fails

on my cw2000 box, I am getting failures on updating the configuration archive that I wasnt getting before.

When I try to update the archive manually i get a failed on some of my devices: mainly cat3550xl switches (although some 3550 do update with no errors).

I have check all the obvious, snmp strings, ping, traceroute, can see the devices in ciscoview. Any idea where to go from here ? is there any logs on the server that show why it failed ?

Under Archive Status, what is the reason of failure listed for the above devices?

the ever helpful 'failed' message

Look under the 'Failuer Reason' column for details. It shows much more then just "failed" for failed devices :-)
