DFM keeps reporting ResourceException even though we have more than enough RAM on all our Switches and Routers. All our Switches have 64MB DRAM and 16MB of FLash. Is it a software error or do we need to upgrade the RAM and Flash. Also, if we do, what are the recommndations for Catalyst 6509, 4000, and 3600 routers.

Have you installed the DFM 1.1 IDS 1.1.2 patch from CCO?. If not, go ahead and install it first. This is more likely due to a DFM issue rather than switch issue. Hopefully, the DFM IDS patch should fix this problem.

Yes, I have since installed this and given it a week to run but it is still reporting the errors. Any other suggestions?
