It would be helpful to be able to deploy multiple secondary DNS servers with the same zones that have already been configured on an one existing secondary DNS server. But I would like to not have to manually configure each zone on each deployed secondary. Is there a file or set of files that could be copied from an existing secondary that would speed deployment? Thanks.

There is no such way of copying the set of files. It should be done manually on each zone.

Thanks. Well I guess that would count as a reason to go with bind. :-)

It's possible to copy the config file from one server to another..... I will need to know version of your CNR software...
If you are on 5.5 and lower, do the following on command line after shutting down the server.
The above will copy your config to a file called config.bin. It's a binary.
Then on your other server ( make sure it's identical, same hardware platform, etc. ) copy that file to the same folder as above, and run the following command:
command line:
start the server, you should be all set.

Yes we're over 5.5. Thanks - that's most helpful.

Hi again,
That procedure will not work for 6.0 and later versions.. There's a separate process for that.
