Hey there, I am using Cisco Network Registrar to administer DOCSIS Modems. I have cloned the drive of our current win2k server so that I can upgrade to a newer machine. Everything is working fine except TFTP cannot load because "port 69 is in use by another server" I set it to port 60 and still no luck. Any ideas? There is no firewall present, nor is there any port blocking enabled.

To the best of my knowledge, CNR TFTP won't allow write to itself unless the file already exists in the home-directory (nwreg2/data/tftp by default) and that's where your prob probably lies. It's not possible to create a new file with CNR TFTP. HTH

When I cloned the drive, I used Norton Ghost to do a sector-by-sector copy. But you're saying that it's not possible to do it this way? Do you think it will work if i simply take the drive out of the old machine and put it into the new one?
