CNR ver 5.5 - slow GUI performance across MT WAN

Has anybody experienced slow response with the CNR GUI when connecting to a CNR server across WAN links? If I attempt to config a secondary zone on a remote CNR server I get a 2 minute delay opening the DNS@ns2.x.x, chosing Add, inserting a name and selecting secondary. The WAN has 20 ms latency across t1 links that are MT.

I have seen probs with cisco's mgt aps where they get pretty picky about calling by IP address or FQDN. FQDN makes a drastic improvement in PIX PDM. I have tried both ways in this CNR case.

Anybode else been there?

Please attempt to "refresh record indexes" by going to the DNS -> debug tab. This should improve performance significantly. The GUI performance is generally not so great, and hence the move to a web based UI from 6.0.
