buenas tardes Comunidad solicito de su apoyo ; tengo una inquitud con respecto al comando Show mac-address -table en yn equipo NEXUs capa 2 para mostral todo los equipos que tengo conectados a la red que me arroje la IP MAC VLAN y Puerto al que estan conectado estoy realizando un trabajo de optimizacion, y el comando show ip arp no me muestra el puerto al que estan conectado. saludos

If the device is L2 you will not get IP ARP table, you can get MAC Address table, which intern need to co-related where the L3 Interface configured, example ;
if north switch have L3 SVI for that vlan - here you can view show ip arp for the IP address.
take that MAC and on L2 switch you map that MAC address by issuing the show mac table to see which port connected.
is this make sense ?

Even on a layer 2 switch there is an arp table. It may not have what someone would be looking for. But show ip arp will produce results on a layer 2 switch, if it is configured with a management interface. On a layer 2 switch the arp table is based on IP activity from the management interface.
