Configuring a dialer-caller on async interface

Hi

I have an AS5300 router.

I want to make sure who is calling me before answering the call. I tried to ues dialer-caller, but it didn't work.

Is there any other way to do it?

Dimitri,

Using dialer caller should work as long as you are receiving DNIS information on your Pri/T1 trunk/s. You can use RADIUS and screen based on DNIS but that just add's more to the scenario and the router should be able to do this on its own.

Any chance I could see the trunk configuration along witht he async ?

but me interests the filter for CLID, instead of for DNIS, is especial when is used additional modem-pool in AS5300

I'm sorry about the mis-interpretation in my previous reply. This information will also work with CLID as well. Dialer caller specifies the number the user called from.
