Configuring multiple ports on a switch

folks,

i'm trying to configure ports 1-24 on a 2900 switch with a single command line sentence.

using the cli help i've got to:

Router(config)#int fa0/1:0?

<1-24>

but when i try the next option, i.e. - i get an unrecognised command.

anyone help me with the correct syntax?

You cannot do this on XL switches CLI. If you have a 2950 or a 3550, you can use the "interface range" command
