Copy to flash

After copying the system image to my removable flash card with the command 'copy bootflash:file_name slot0:

I do a dir and I see the file but when I take the card to another similar switch to upgrade the image on that switch the file can not be seen by doing a dir on slot0:. Why do i see the file do one switch but i pop the card into another switch and i don't see the file.

What kind of switches are these? How big is the flash card? Format the flash card in the switch in question and then copy the file over

they are 4507's. the card is 64m
