CPU load high with "Calhoun LED Proc"

hi,

We have a lot of 2950-G with 25% to 30% cpu load.

I found the "Calhoun LED Proc" with 9 %.

Any one know what the Calhoun LED Proc means ?

attached the show process cpu.

I have the exact same issue and was also wondering the same thing. Only see it on the G switch and not on out C switches.

Found this on cisco website: They have a baseline that shows same 30% cpu utilization on the G switch even though the C switches that we have run at 4%

The common observation is that the CPU utilization output for the show processes cpu command on the 2900XL/3500XL switch shows a fairly high value when the switch is idle and has no active ports. When viewing the output of the show processes cpu command, the highest percentage processes are Port Status Process and Led Control Process. It is normal behavior for these processes to be a high percentage of the total CPU utilization.
