designing a workgroup and DMZ switch

Hi,

we are desiging a solution based on cisco the following is the specification multimode fiber sx gigabit, wire speed L2 switching, capable supporting layer 3 or adequate QOS for ip teli trafic classification based on Tos, ip precedence layer 2/3/4 flows, policy based qos including bandwidth management prioritisation and congestion control

can someone let me know which is nice product to be used

You might want to consider CAT4500 series with Sup3/4 or a CAT3550

what switch support the L4-L7 and what switch can be used in the DMZ is there any switch that has some features for DMZ

I don't know of any switch features aimed at DMZ's specifically. PVLANs / Protected Ports are nice in DMZ's for security reasons but they can be useful all over the place in my opinion.

Can someone suggest me with a right version of cisco works which supprots implimentation of policy based services configure and monitor devices inculding vlan's network monitoring capabilities, inventory mangement, security mangement support for rmon1/2 and switch monitoring.
