How can I modify the DFM MailNotifier to send the value of the instance which triggered the event?
Normally only the event can be seen in the email and the value not.
Eg: I received the following:
InCharge Domain : DFM Port PORT-c3550-01/1.2 [Gi0/2] HighUtilization - Utilization has exceeded its threshold.
I would like to see similar like this:
InCharge Domain : DFM Port PORT-c3550-01/1.2 [Gi0/2] HighUtilization Value: 450000000 bit/sec - Utilization has exceeded its threshold. Threshold was 40%.

As far as I know, there is no way to do this. But I agree that it would be very useful to see the values along with the notification. Has anyone done this before? Any clues how this can be achieved?

Yes this is a known issue with DFM and is being worked on. This is true of all of the notification adapters with the exception of the File Notifier which can be used to correlate events that have cleard from the monitoring console.

Phillip,
How do you mean that "File Notifier which can be used to correlate events that have cleared from the monitoring console"?
Can I reload the saved information from the File Notifier to the monitoring console?
How can I use the File Notifier if it also doesn't contains the values?
Thanks,
Zoltan
