dear friends,
can any cisco switches work as DHCP server or DNS server or Web Cache? and which is better in the performance to user these services in Switches or seperated servers? assume we have a Gigabit network with 1000 users supporting VoIP, internet, and IPphone.

Almost all Cisco switches/routers can act as DHCP servers. They cannot act as DNS servers as they can only do DNS lookups for commands or addresses entered via the CLI. I would go with either a Sun Solaris box running BIND for DNS or an F5 Networks appliance. They cannot act as Web Caches. For this I would use one of the 500 series cisco cache engines.
