Dial IP - Radius Problem (?)

can anybody give me an idea where a problem might possibly be on my setup:

USER --> RAS --> LNS --> RADIUS

Scenario: usernames and passwords are always sent to radius for authentication (this is given).

Problem: Radius logs show that there are instances that no usernames are sent.

Not sure if LNS is a Cisco box, if it is I would certainly focus on ppp/aaa/radius debugs from it.

additional info:

LNS --> cisco

RAS --> cisco, tigris, huawei

RADIUS --> linux based

we'll do the debugs. but if you have any experiences regarding this problem, your help is greatly appreciated.
