Hi,
Is it possible to have different users of Cisco Works 2000 with "restricted" views of the network?
For example, I would like to have one customer see his/her switch, while at the same time not being able to monitor another customer's router.
I am using Cisco Works 2000 on Solaris, LAN Management Solutions, with CD One 4th Edition, Campus Manager 3.1 and Resource Manager Essentials 3.3
Does anybody know if this is possible at all?

In Device Manager->Administration->CiscoView Server->CiscoView Device List, you can use the Edit Per User List after importing it to assign the devices to individual users.

Using the per User configuration will not enable the users to access the devices via the already configured SNMP communities strings in Cisco Works.
But still they can gain access to other customers devices as far as they have the correct SNMP community strings for these devices.
