Digital Mica Modems and AutoAnswer.

Hi all,

I tried to modify the internal digital Mica modem from default Auto Answer value using:

modemcap entry MICA:MSC=&F1S0=4

line 65 76

modem autoconfigure type MICA

Problem is that the modems still answer on first ring (indtead of the Fourth). Any ideas why?

All MICA modemcaps should start with &F&D2

The S0 (Automatic Answer in Seconds)

Specifies the interval in seconds between the time the modem receives notification of an incoming call and the time the modem answers the call.

I will recommend keeping s0=0 due to CSCdw05174
